Tenon and mortise milling jig
The challenge:
Precise tenons can only be produced by hand or with hand-held circular saws and the like with great effort. The same applies to mortises, machining with a chain mortiser only provides rough results. Therefore, the classic wood connection "pin and hole" and its advantages are often dispensed with.
The solution:
With the Lignatool milling system for straight tenons and mortises, you can create tenons of different widths, lengths, heights and inclinations of up to 60°. Use the hole template to create very precise mortises

Systainer
Supplied in a practical Systainer with foam insert.
Jigs
Anodized aluminum spigot and hole template and stainless steel bushings that can be replaced when worn.
Scales
Scales made of black anodized aluminum with light engraving for high reading contrast, resistant to solvents and mechanical stress.
Milling guide
The router is hooked into the patented safety routing guide with the locking plate. This allows you to work safely and without tiring.
Locking plate
The locking plate is made of plastic and is screwed onto the soleplate of the router.

Contour ring
Attaches to the locking plate with a locking ring. During milling, the contour ring slides along the template and the stops and thus scans the milling contour.
Horizontal stop
Available in normal and deep versions. The horizontal stop can be adjusted at an angle of up to +-60°.
Vertical stop
The vertical stop can be adjusted at an angle of up to +-60°.
Side stop
The lateral position of the tenon template is set at the side stop.
Chip protection
Made from shatterproof clear polycarbonate. The horizontal chip guard is clipped onto the spigot template from above.
The vertical chip protection is pushed from above into the guide groove of the milling guide on the spigot template.
Clamp fixation
For quick fixation of the tenon template on the beam, with mounting brackets and a lever clamp.
Variable tenon lengths
Depending on the milling cutter and router, tenon lengths of up to 80mm can be milled.
Rotary tip
The rotatable tip allows you to mill either a square or a round tenon.
Cutter
The cutters have a ø20mm cone shank and are screwed directly into the cone of the router with a double-threaded nut.
Different overall lengths are available, the diameter is 30mm, the working length is 60mm.
